The Purest Solutions’ Tips for sunscreen application : Are you choosing the right sunscreen for your skin?

With increasing awareness about the positive effects of applying sunscreen and it being available in different forms, choosing the right sunscreen that suits your skin type and nourishes it along with protecting it is very important.

Here at The Purest Solutions, we have infused our sunscreen line with Shea Butter and Hyaluronic Acid [link to ingredient] for hydration, Arbutin and Niacinamide for blemished skin and dark spots, and Centella and Witch Hazel for acne and oily skin problems. Together these products solve different skin problems such as sebum balance, enlarged pores, wrinkles and fine lines, hyperpigmentation etc along with having SPF 50 for maximum sun protection.

We have some tips for you to make sure you choose the right sunscreen for your skin type and get the most out of sun protection:

  1. It is crucial to apply sunscreen to all areas on the skin that are exposed to UV rays such as face, neck, ears, hands, and feet. Use the 2 finger method to apply to full face and do not forget to reapply every two or 3 hours.
  2. It is recommended to use sunscreen all year round and not just in the sunny weather along with being indoors as well as outdoors, because the UV rays can penetrate through clouds and windows and still harm the skin.
  3. It is advisable to choose a sunscreen which provides broad spectrum protection against UVA as well as UVB rays, along with blue light protection.
  4. It is recommended to use a sunscreen with sun protection factor or SPF of 30 or higher to be able to protect your skin for longer and more effectively under harsh sun conditions.

Sunscreen is as important for your skincare routine as it is to remember to eat or drink because it’s the hydration of the skin that leads to healthier and youthful skin. Make it a habit to apply sunscreen regularly and embrace the naturally beautiful skin within you.
